The Brattonsound SL5+ 4/5 Gun Safe is a premium Sentinel Plus cabinet, designed to deliver enhanced security, practical storage, and full compliance with UK firearm storage regulations. Built for shooters who require both firearm and accessory security, the SL5+ combines robust steel construction with an internal locking safe and fixed shelf.

Maximum Security Construction

Manufactured from 2mm thick fully welded steel, including a fully welded top, the SL5+ is engineered for strength and long-term durability. Advanced CNC high-definition plasma cutting and press-brake technology ensures precise construction, consistent quality, and excellent structural integrity.

A full-length anti-jemmy bar protects the lock side of the cabinet, while the full-length anti-lever flange and door interlock reinforce the hinge side. The recessed door design, featuring multiple folds in both the door and housing, maximises resistance to forced entry and attack.

Sentinel Plus Enhanced Locking

As part of the Sentinel Plus range, the SL5+ benefits from a double-skinned vault-type door and a 5-point locking system using electro-plated solid steel locking pins. Security is provided by a high-strength 7-lever double-throw lock supplied with two double-bitted keys.

An internal locking safe, complete with its own set of keys, provides secure storage for ammunition or valuables, while the fixed internal shelf allows for organised storage.

Interior Protection & Installation

The cabinet interior includes a high-density foam divider and floor mat to protect firearms from damage. The SL5+ is suitable for wall or floor fixing, with 14mm fixing holes located in the back and base for secure installation. An optional left-hand opening is available to suit your space and access requirements.

Durable Finish & Compliance

Finished in a durable light grey textured powder coat, the cabinet is iron phosphate pre-treated to BS 3189 and tested to BS 3900 standards for resistance to scratching, flaking, humidity, and salt spray. The SL5+ is approved to BS 7558/92 and fully approved by the Police and MOD.
