The BSA R12 SLX Side Lever represents the next evolution of BSA’s highly respected R12 platform, combining the proven CLX mono block architecture with a refined, low profile side lever action inspired by the much-loved R10SE. Designed, developed and manufactured in Birmingham, England, the R12 SLX delivers enhanced reliability, improved air efficiency and outstanding accuracy in a modern, streamlined package.

Finished in a striking Grey PMG laminate sporter stock, manufactured by Minelli in Italy, the R12 SLX offers excellent ergonomics, balance and durability. The sporter-style configuration makes it ideal for both hunting and range use, while retaining the unmistakable BSA feel.

At its core is BSA’s renowned cold hammer forged barrel, hand-chambered, crowned and choked for exceptional accuracy. The regulated PCP action ensures consistent shot-to-shot performance, while the smooth low-profile side lever provides fast, effortless cycling. The rifle uses BSA’s latest 12-shot CLX magazine system, complete with a visible shot counter and an empty-magazine indicator for added confidence in use.

The R12 SLX is supplied with a 200cc air bottle as standard, delivering excellent efficiency and shot count. For the first time on this platform, the revised forend allows optional upgrade to 280cc or 400cc bottles without modification, offering future flexibility. A redesigned fore-end also allows bipod fitment without obstructing the quick-fill system.

Sound moderation is handled by BSA’s CCS (Customer Configurable Shroud) system, allowing the rifle to be run either fully shrouded or with the silencer unit only, depending on optic clearance and user preference.
