The Brattonsound RL5+ Rifle Safe is a tall, deep rifle cabinet designed to securely store 4–5 rifles, with the added benefit of a 203mm internal locking top compartment for ammunition or valuables. Manufactured in the UK by Brattonsound Engineering Ltd, the RL5+ delivers trusted security, robust construction, and full compliance for UK firearms owners.

Certified & Trusted Security

Approved to BS 7558/92 and accepted by UK Police and the MOD, the RL5+ meets the requirements for firearms certificate holders. Security is provided by a high-strength 7-lever double-throw lock, supplied with two double-bitted keys for dependable mechanical protection.

An additional 203mm internal locking top compartment (supplied with two keys) provides secure storage for ammunition or other sensitive items, with a fixed internal shelf for organisation.

Heavy-Duty British Engineering

Manufactured in the UK from 2mm thick fully welded steel, including a fully welded top, the RL5+ is engineered for long-term durability and resistance to forced entry. Structural security features include:

• Full-length anti-jemmy bar on the lock side

Protective Interior & Practical Design

The interior is fitted with a high-density foam divider and floor mat, protecting firearms from movement or damage. The tall cabinet design accommodates full-length rifles comfortably, while allowing easy access and organised storage.

Durable Powder-Coated Finish

Finished in Brattonsound’s light grey textured powder coat, the RL5+ is iron-phosphate pre-treated and tested to BS 3900 standards, offering excellent resistance to corrosion, humidity, flaking, and wear.

Flexible Installation Options

The RL5+ is suitable for floor or wall fixing, with 14mm fixing holes in the base and rear panel. An optional left-hand opening is available (additional cost) to suit different installation layouts.
