Simple & Effective Cleaning Process

Using the Britbore Mop system is straightforward and highly effective:

1. Spray solvent or cleaner into the bores

2. Use a phosphor bronze brush on a cleaning rod to loosen residue

3. Remove the brush and push a mop into each chamber, twisting slightly for a tight fit

4. Expect some resistance and squeaking – this confirms effective contact

5. Dispose of heavily soiled mops responsibly

6. Use a fresh mop to remove remaining light residue

7. Finish by applying gun oil and rod the mop through to leave a protective film

Lightly soiled mops can be retained and reused as the first pass during your next cleaning session.
