The Stoeger X20 Wood is a break barrel spring piston air rifle that combines classic hardwood styling with reliable performance and quiet operation thanks to its integrated suppressor system using Air Flow Control (AFC) technology and Dual-Stage Noise Reduction. The suppressor bleeds off compressed air through an internal regulator ring before the pellet reaches the baffle section, significantly reducing muzzle report making it one of the quieter spring-powered rifles in its class for backyard plinking, target shooting, or pest control.

The ambidextrous Monte Carlo hardwood stock features checkering on the pistol grip and forearm for secure grip, dual raised cheekpieces for comfortable left- or right-handed shooting, and a non-slip deluxe rubber recoil pad to absorb vibration. The ergonomic cocking grip makes break barrel loading smooth and easy, while the adjustable two stage trigger provides a crisp, customised pull. An automatic ambidextrous safety mounted on the rear of the receiver ensures secure handling, and the integral 11mm dovetail scope rail (no open sights) supports optics mounting.
