| M1911 full
        metal, full blow-back CO2 powered M1911 A1 pistol in 4.5mm
steel BB format, part of the ‘Brothers in Arms®’ series
of replica iconic 20th Century combat weapons produced
        by Lee-Enfield
        (Guns) Ltd.
“"The "Brothers in Arms® series of replica, iconic 20th century,
weapons, is produced for Lee-Enfield (Guns) Ltd, to honour the
combatants of all nationalities, who fought and died in dreadful
conflicts, in the world's bloodiest century. Models in the range
include: the Mosin Nagant M1944; the Kalashnikov AK-74 and-perhaps the
        most iconic of them all-The Lee-Enfield SMLE®.

The M 1911 was designed by John Browning for Colt in 1911 and it served
as the standard-issue Sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from
1911 to 1985. For our CO2 powered, steel BB firing version we have
replicated the M 1911 A1 variant, adopted as the standard in 1924. The
M1911 was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the
Vietnam War and the other conflicts such as "The Bay of Pigs"
and the sectarian violence in Ireland during the 1970s and 1980s. It is
probably the most readily recognised pistol in the world, and though
the US government only procured around 2.7 million of these weapons, it
is estimated that more than 10 million have been produced worldwide.
For many the strength, accuracy and reliability of the design means the
M 1911 remains "first among equals".” said Mike Hurney,
        Chairman TSP.

 “The  CO2 powered M1911
A1 pistol in 4.5mm steel BB format has a full
metal action and slide, weighing in at 950gm (3.1lbs), the same weight
and dimensions as the original. The grips hold a single 12gm CO2
Capsule and a 17 round steel BB magazine, that fires in a
semi-automatic mode, producing velocities of up to 325 fps. The many
realistic features include a manual safety on the left-hand side,
together with a second “Palm Grip” safety; full “blow-back” action,
with the top-slide remaining open when the last BB is fired. These
unique firearms are a great tribute to our ‘Brothers in Arms” Hurney
        added.

 “we loved the “as-fast-as-you-can-pull-the-trigger” semi-automatic
action that makes it very easy to burn up the BB’s. May the BB Blitz
        begin!” Hurney concluded
